When the land thrives, we thrive.

Our lives are tied to the soil beneath our feet. Bomani Kwetu brings care for nature back home; to our bomas, our streets, our farms, our everyday hustle.

From how we use water to how we treat waste, small actions in our homes ripple across the country.  Each choice becomes a story of care;  proof that progress and nature can grow side by side.

About us

Climate action in Kenya is currently trapped in the crossroads where economic growth and environmental protection are often viewed as a zero-sum game. Climate action spoken in out-of-touch  language  often remains distant from the realities of many Kenyans.

While global climate conversations continue to shape the Kenya climate movement, frontline stewards of the environment remain under-resourced and the daily needs of Kenyans often unheard within the climate movement

We are rooted in Kenyan identity, pride  and the shared responsibility to protect our home , our land, our people, and our future.

Bomani Kwetu exists to protect the place we call home by igniting the care for nature that already exists in us, rooted in community, local knowledge, innovation and the responsibility that defines us as Kenyans.

We envision a country where sustainable choices are accessible, celebrated, and woven into everyday culture. A future where local wisdom, modern solutions, and our collective action breathe life back into the place we call home.
